Why Simplicity Wins

At Dealer Alchemist, we want to make things easier for our clients. We’ve made many great tools to help dealerships succeed. But we noticed our PRODUCT NAMES were getting too complicated. It was time to make a change. We decided to make things simpler and clearer.

Here’s why we did this and what it means for you (and who’re we kidding, we’re growing so fast it’s for our benefit too).

1. Easy to Understand

People like things that are easy to understand. We wanted our product names to be clear from the start. Instead of fancy names, we chose simple ones. This makes it easier for our clients to know what each product does right away.

2. Quick Communication

Simple names make talking about our products quicker and easier. There’s no need for long explanations. Everyone knows what we’re talking about right away. This saves time for everyone.

3. Trust and Honesty

Simple names show we are honest. When we call our advertising tool “Advertising,” you know exactly what it does. This builds trust. You know what to expect from each product. 

Meet Our Simplified Product Names (Brace Yourselves)

  • Advertising: This was called CORe. It connects with your dealership website to show real-time inventory. It works with Google and Facebook to keep your inventory visible, and it helps you spend your ad budget wisely.

  • Website: Formerly Autogo Websites. It helps you create and manage your dealership’s web presence. Show your inventory, capture leads, and give users a great experience. Can you believe we’re actually explaining a what a website does right now?  

  • Leads: This was LeadPulse. It helps you get and manage leads for your dealership. Capture customer info and follow up easily to turn prospects into buyers. If you’re getting hung up on the meaning of this your GSM will be over to see you shortly.

  • Specials: Old name – PricePulse. It dynamically builds new and used vehicle special pages, making sure your prices are competitive and attractive.

  • Service: This was called Service Marketing. It helps you promote your dealership’s service department. Attract new customers and keep existing ones. We’re all in the car business, if we can’t understand this immediately, we all have bigger issues.

  • Credit: Formerly Credit Favor. It focuses on credit services. Make it easier for customers to get financing and close more deals.

  • Metrics: We used to call this Performance Insights. It gives you analytics and performance data. See what’s working and where you can improve.

The Bottom Line

We already have a jazzy automotive tech name so our goal is to make things easier for you. By making our product names simple, we give you clear and honest solutions. This change helps you more quickly understand and know what you’re getting with each tool. We believe this will make your experience with Dealer Alchemist even better.
